I was raised in Washington DC within a self-made family of entrepreneurs, where community economics and creative expression weren’t just values, they were the beat we moved to. That rhythm taught me early that building something meaningful is both art and architecture, and that real growth requires taste and precision.

Growing up between DC, LA, and NYC became my cultural education. Each city gave me layers of style, point of view, and pattern recognition you only get by living inside diverse communities. Summers in Brooklyn, winters in LA. Skateparks, ocean mornings, and long seasons of adapting to change. That’s the lens I bring into every engagement: how culture moves, how people decide, and how brands earn trust.

In 2008, I committed to applying my work toward positive planetary impact. That commitment shaped how I live (plant-based, yoga, qigong) and how I build. It eventually birthed DFFRNTWRLD®, and it continues to guide my consulting today: build brands that perform commercially while contributing something real to the world.
